According to Plastics News this new network is being formed to ‘educate, mentor and empower women in plastics . . . and is a community dedicated to the professional development of female executives in the plastics industry.”
“I’m honored to be one of the seven women chosen by Plastics News to serve on the WBM Advisory Board,” said Linda. “I’m happy to provide advice and help mentor young women who want to succeed in their plastics industry careers.”
Tammy Straw
ENTEK’s Marketing and Business Development Manager, Tammy Straw, is a member of the Plastics Industry Association’s NPE2018 ‘Attendee Acquisition Committee’. In this role she works with other committee members to strategize on the best methods to promote the show to generate record attendance, which is being held May 7-11, 2018 in Orlando, Florida.
Tammy attended the recent NPE Space Draw in Orlando to both help answer questions for exhibitors choosing their booth space, and to choose ENTEK’s space for the upcoming show. “It was an exciting space draw because the show actually sold out of exhibit space, which was the first time that has happened,” said Tammy (for more information go to https://www.npe.org/article/npe2018-plastics-show-sells-out-exhibit-space-space-draw). “That’s a good sign for our industry and we hope that when the show comes around next year, we see record numbers of attendees.”
