ENTEK lead acid group is pleased to announce that it has joined the Consortium for Battery Innovation (CBI) as a partner in its research endeavors for the advancement of lead battery technologies. CBI, working with technology leaders across the full spectrum of the battery industry, is charting the way forward with a roadmap for identifying key research projects to advance lead battery technologies.
“CBI and ENTEK share a common goal of advancing material science and promoting innovation in lead battery technology for the continued success and prosperity of our industry” said Clint Beutelschies, ENTEK’s VP of Global Sales. “CBI’s research focus ties in well with our own efforts for increased battery performance in automotive, Industrial and renewable energy storage, and we are excited to participate in this group”. ENTEK produces separators for all three primary separator technologies (PE, AGM, and lithium-ion) for the global energy storage industry. It is headquartered in Lebanon, Oregon, USA, with additional production facilities in the UK, Indonesia, Japan and China.
