ENTEK ANNOUNCES HIGHER THROUGHPUT CAPABILITIES FOR THE FIBER AND WOOD-PLASTIC COMPOSITES MARKET

25% Greater Output Achieved Using New Screw and Process Technology

At a press conference on May 18, 2006 at company headquarters in Lebanon, OR, ENTEK demonstrated new technology that allows the highest throughput capabilities ever achieved on the company’s 53mm twin-screw extrusion equipment. ENTEK engineers will be on hand at NPE 2006 to discuss this latest development with fiber and wood-plastic composites suppliers. Information on the demonstration is listed below:

1,600 lbs/hr for decking profile extrusion (previous maximum throughput estimated at 1,200 lbs/hr)
