ENTEK EPX is an extremely high porosity separator designed to provide ultra-low impedance for specialty battery applications. It is used as a thin film (7-12µm) PE substrate in various ceramic and PVDF coating applications. Ceramic coated separators provide outstanding high temperature dimensional stability and high Voltage protection in plug-in EV applications while PVDF coated separators are beneficial in large format Li-ion laminated pouch cells.
